Graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons). Degree from the National University of Singapore in 1988.
Joined Prakash Gurbani & Chong as Advocate & Solicitor in 1989 and continued practice with Gurbani & Co. He was made a partner of Gurbani & Co in January 1993.
Engaged primarily as Counsel in civil litigation involving shipping, air carriage, freight forwarding, insurance (marine and non-marine) as well as general litigation involving contractual disputes, accidents, industrial/work related, personal injury disputes and workmen's compensation claims.
Apart from litigation, conducted investigations and reported on piracy claims and other marine casualties.
Involved in arbitration hearings as Counsel and as Arbitrator.
